In Training:
Ron
K-9 Ron comes to us all the way from Minnesota, where he was timestamped for euthanasia at MACC. Unbreakabull Pit Bull Rescue of Minnesota stepped in and rescued Ron. He may not have to look of most police dogs but Ron’s amazingly social, stable and driven. K-9 Ron is fully trained in narcotics detection and is ready to get to work.
Stryker
Please welcome our newest rescue dog in training, K-9 Stryker. Stryker is an approximately 1–2-year-old Shepherd mix that was rescued from LA Animal Serices with the help of Outta the Cage rescue. As you can see, he is extremely toy driven and environmentally stable. Stryker has began training as a detection and tracking canine.

Cali
K-9 Cali has been donated to the Edison Township Police Department to begin her career as a narcotics detection canine. This would not have been possible without Jennifer Downs recognizing her potential while she was in the care of LA Animal Services and Outta the Cage who pulled her from the shelter and helped fly her across the country. We are grateful to Mayor Sam Joshi and Chief Thomas Bryan of Edison for giving Cali the opportunity to serve their department alongside of K-9s Apollo, Caj and Mack which all came from our rescue program.

Mobi
Mobi is a border collie/pudelpointer mix. He is social, confident and has drive for days. He came to us from another great nonprofit, Kaiser K-9 in Maryland. Mobi was a private surrender to them when he was 5 months old. They spent months socializing him, exposing him to different environments, building his hunt drive and allowing him to mature. All their hard work made Mobi a quick study in our program!
Mobi is currently working with the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office in Narcotics Detection and Tracking.
River
River entered our care back in June of 2022 in partnership with Malinois Rescue League - Saving Mals around the globe. She was originally located in a river as a stray. She is a calm, sweet girl that loves toys. She was trained in explosives detection and tracking. River is wise beyond her years with a very methodical approach to searching. Her favorite past-time when not working is playing tug of war and fetch.
